1. Send an objection to your township or village clerk.

Under Michigan law, if more than 20% of property owners by land mass send objections to the project, the TLCSA cannot proceed unless more than 50% of land owners then send notices of support for the project.

2. Talk to your representatives.

If any member municipality votes to cede from the TLCSA, the project will not proceed in its present form. Voice your objections to your board representatives.

3. Attend meetings.

Go to township/village board meeting and TLCSA meetings and make your voice heard.

4. Talk to your neighbors.

Talk to your neighbors, send them links to this site and publications on this site, and make sure as many people are aware of the cost, complexity, and limitations of the TLCSA project.
